Account details you give us when you sign up: your email address, your name if you provide one, and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in a form we can read.

Content you upload: the movies you add to your library, along with their titles, descriptions, and the technical metadata needed to play them back.

Room activity: the rooms you create or join, who you invite, chat messages sent in a room, and reactions. Playback position is shared between people in a room while a session is running.

Basic technical information sent by your browser, such as your IP address and user agent, which we use to keep accounts secure and to diagnose faults.

To run the product: authenticate you, store your library, keep a room in sync, and deliver video to your device at a quality your connection can handle.

To keep accounts and private rooms secure, and to investigate abuse or technical problems when they occur.

To communicate with you about your account, including changes to these terms or to pricing.

We use a small number of processors to operate the service: Supabase for authentication and data storage, Mux for video processing and streaming, and LiveKit for in-room voice and video calls. Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

We may disclose information where we are legally required to, and will tell you when we are permitted to do so.

The movies you upload remain yours. We store and process them to make playback work, and for no other purpose. We do not use your uploads to train models, and we do not make them available to anyone you have not invited.

Rooms are private by default. Access runs through an invite link you control and can revoke.

Account information is kept while your account is open. Uploads are kept until you delete them or close your account.

When you delete your account, we remove your personal data and uploaded content from active systems. Backups age out on their own schedule.

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA.

We use cookies that are necessary for the service to work — chiefly to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your chosen theme is saved in your browser's local storage so the site looks the same the next time you visit. That value never leaves your device.

If we make a material change to this policy we will tell you before it takes effect, and we will always update the date at the top of this page.
